On the Day of Judgment, each person's deeds will be weighed on a true scale called the Mizan. The Quran promises perfect fairness in this weighing: 'We shall set up just scales on the Day of Resurrection, so that no soul will be wronged in the least. Even if it be the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth' (21:47), and elsewhere, 'Whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it' (99:7) — meaning nothing is too small to matter, not a kind word, not a moment of patience, not a quiet unkindness either. Alongside the Balance, each person receives a Record of their deeds. Those who lived with sincerity and effort receive their record in their right hand and rejoice, while those whose lives were consumed with heedlessness or wrongdoing receive theirs differently, with dread (17:71). Together, these images teach something gentle and motivating at once: every small good deed is registered and valued by Allah, so no act of kindness, however minor it feels, is ever wasted.
