About these collections. Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim are the two most rigorously authenticated books of hadith in Sunni Islam. Riyad as-Salihin (Imam an-Nawawi) and an-Nawawi's Forty Hadith are widely-used curated selections; Jami' at-Tirmidhi and Sunan Abi Dawud are among the four Sunan. Numbering can vary slightly between print and digital editions.
