Az-Zuhrī reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ:

Kana idha ramal-jamratal-lati tali masjida minana yarmiha bisab'i hasayat, yukabbiru kullama rama bihasah, thumma taqaddama amamaha fawaqafa mustaqbilal-qiblati rafi'an yadayhi yad'u, wakana yutilul-wuquf, thumma ya'til-jamratath-thaniyah, fayarmiha bisab'i hasayat, yukabbiru kullama rama bihasah, thumma yanhadiru dhatal-yasari mimma yalil-wadiya, fayaqifu mustaqbilal-qiblati rafi'an yadayhi yad'u, thumma ya'til-jamratal-lati 'indal-'aqabati fayarmiha bisab'i hasayat, yukabbiru 'inda kulli hasah, thumma yansarifu wala yaqifu 'indaha

Whenever he stoned the Jamrah next to the mosque of Minā, he threw seven pebbles at it, saying takbīr with each pebble. Then he went forward beyond it and stood facing the qiblah, raising his hands in supplication, and he would stand for a long time. Then he came to the second Jamrah and threw seven pebbles at it, saying takbīr with each pebble; then he went down to the left, towards the valley, and stood facing the qiblah, raising his hands in supplication. Then he came to the Jamrah at al-ʿAqabah and threw seven pebbles at it, saying takbīr with each pebble; then he left and did not stop at it.
