the future is better than the past, so recalling Allah's past care he should shelter the orphan, help the beggar, and proclaim His blessings. 94 Ash-Sharhالشرح The Relief · Makki · 8 ayat Allah reminds the Prophet how He expanded his breast and lifted his burden and renown, then gives the enduring promise that with every hardship comes ease, calling him to turn in worship and yearning to his Lord once his task is done. 95 At-Tinالتين The Fig · Makki · 8 ayat By the fig, olive, Sinai, and the secure city, Allah made man in the finest form yet reduces him to the lowest unless he believes and does good; He, the most just of judges, will surely bring the deniers of the Recompense to account. 96 Al-Alaqالعلق The Clot · Makki · 19 ayat The first revelation, commanding the Prophet ﷺ to 'Read in the name of your Lord' — the Creator who taught humanity by the pen. Each surah's overview, chosen verses, reflections, and lessons are faithful summaries drawn from mainstream tafsir (the lines of Ibn Kathir, al-Tabari, al-Qurtubi, and al-Sa'di) — a doorway to reflection (tadabbur), not a substitute for reading the surah itself or for a scholar's guidance. The verse text quoted under each surah is the Yusuf Ali translation from the same dataset that powers our reader, and every reference was checked in place. Surah names, meanings, and Makki/Madani classification follow that Tanzil-sourced data; a long surah is listed under the juz' where it begins.
