No. Jabir reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that graves be plastered over, that they be sat upon, or that anything be built over them (Sahih Muslim 970). In his final illness the Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah cursed the Jews and the Christians because they took the graves of their prophets as places of prayer," and Aisha added that his own grave was therefore left plain, out of fear that it too would be taken as a place of prayer (Sahih al-Bukhari 1330). Five days before his death he warned, "Those before you used to take the graves of their prophets and righteous men as places of worship. Do not take graves as mosques — I forbid you that" (Sahih Muslim 532). Ali ibn Abi Talib sent Abu al-Hayyaj with the same command the Prophet ﷺ had given him: to leave no image unobliterated and no raised grave unlevelled (Sahih Muslim 969). So a grave is raised only slightly and left simple; domes, shrines and mosques built over graves are forbidden, because they have historically been a doorway to shirk.
