My family cooks pork at home — can I still eat the food they make or use the same dishes?

Pork, blood, carrion, and anything slaughtered for other than Allah are forbidden to you (Quran 5:3), but the pots and plates themselves are not permanently impure — washing them with water removes the impurity and they become pure again. Abū Thaʿlabah al-Khushanī asked the Prophet ﷺ about eating from the vessels of the People of the Book and he said, "If you can get utensils other than theirs, do not eat out of theirs; but if you cannot get other than theirs, wash their utensils and eat out of them" (Sahih al-Bukhari 5478; Sahih Muslim 1930). So the better course is to have your own pan and dishes where that is easy, but where it is not, washed utensils are permissible and you may eat vegetarian, seafood, or otherwise permissible food your family prepares, provided it contains no pork, lard, alcohol, or non-permissible meat. Explain your needs to your family kindly rather than accusingly — good treatment of non-Muslim parents is itself a command of Allah, and many families are happy to keep a separate pan once they understand.
