No — abandoning the prayer would replace a sin with something far worse, and it removes the very cure you need. Allah says: "Establish the prayer... indeed good deeds erase bad deeds" (Quran 11:114), and "the prayer restrains from immorality and wrongdoing" (Quran 29:45), so the prayer is what gradually pulls a person out of sin, not a reward for having already left it. The Prophet ﷺ taught that the five prayers are an expiation for what falls between them. Shayṭān's oldest tactic is to whisper that you are too filthy to approach Allah; the believer's response is to pray, seek forgiveness, and keep coming back.
