Will the believers actually see Allah in Paradise?

Yes. It is a settled belief of Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jamaʿah that the believers will see their Lord with their own eyes in the Hereafter — a real seeing, without asking how and without likening Him to His creation. Allah says of the believers, "Faces that Day will be radiant, looking at their Lord" (Quran 75:22-23), and He says of the disbelievers, "No! Indeed, from their Lord that Day they will be veiled" (Quran 83:15), which the scholars took as proof that the believers are not veiled. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, looking at the full moon, "You will see your Lord as you see this moon, and you will have no trouble in seeing Him" (Sahih al-Bukhari 554), and in Sahih Muslim 181 Suhayb narrated that when the people of Paradise enter it Allah asks them if they wish for anything more, and then "He will lift the veil" — and nothing they were given will be more beloved to them than looking at their Lord; in one of its wordings the Prophet then recited, "For those who do good is the best reward and even more" (Quran 10:26). Rejecting this vision was the way of the Jahmiyyah and Muʿtazilah; the Companions and the imams of the Sunnah affirmed it exactly as the texts came, affirming the seeing while denying any resemblance between Allah and creation.
