A Muslim man is permitted to marry a chaste woman from the People of the Book (a practising Jew or Christian), though marrying a righteous Muslim woman is better for his faith and family. A Muslim woman, however, may not marry a non-Muslim man at all — this is a matter of scholarly consensus — because Allah stated that believing women are not lawful for disbelievers, nor are the disbelievers lawful for them. Neither a man nor a woman may marry an idolater or someone with no revealed religion until they believe. If you converted while married to a non-Muslim, that is a separate ruling handled case by case, so consult a knowledgeable scholar.
