Q&A · Prayer

How do you pray salah for beginners?

Face the qibla with wudu, make the intention, and begin with 'Allahu Akbar'. In each unit (rakah) recite Surah al-Fatihah, bow (ruku) saying 'Subhana Rabbiyal Adheem', stand, then prostrate (sujud) twice saying 'Subhana Rabbiyal A'la', and after the final unit recite the tashahhud and give salam to both sides. The number of units differs by prayer.
