Surah Al-Adiyat — The Courser

وَٱلْعَـٰدِيَـٰتِ ضَبْحًۭا ﴿١﴾

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 100:1

فَٱلْمُورِيَـٰتِ قَدْحًۭا ﴿٢﴾

And strike sparks of fire, 100:2

فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًۭا ﴿٣﴾

And push home the charge in the morning, 100:3

فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًۭا ﴿٤﴾

And raise the dust in clouds the while, 100:4

فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا ﴿٥﴾

And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 100:5

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌۭ ﴿٦﴾

Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 100:6

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌۭ ﴿٧﴾

And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 100:7

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ ﴿٨﴾

And violent is he in his love of wealth. 100:8

۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ ﴿٩﴾

Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 100:9

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ ﴿١٠﴾

And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 100:10

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ ﴿١١﴾

That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 100:11
