Surah Az-Zalzalah — The Earthquake

إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا ﴿١﴾

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 99:1

وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا ﴿٢﴾

And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 99:2

وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مَا لَهَا ﴿٣﴾

And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 99:3

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا ﴿٤﴾

On that Day will she declare her tidings: 99:4

بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا ﴿٥﴾

For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 99:5

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًۭا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ ﴿٦﴾

On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 99:6

فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًۭا يَرَهُۥ ﴿٧﴾

Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 99:7

وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍۢ شَرًّۭا يَرَهُۥ ﴿٨﴾

And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 99:8
