Among the most virtuous brief phrases is 'SubhanAllahi wa bi hamdihi' — the Prophet (peace be upon him) said whoever says it one hundred times in a day has his sins erased even if they were like the foam of the sea. He also said two words are light on the tongue, heavy on the Scale, and beloved to the Most Merciful: 'SubhanAllahi wa bi hamdihi, SubhanAllahi al-Azim.' These require no special time or place and are ideal to keep the tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah. Consistency in a small dhikr is more beloved to Allah than a large amount done irregularly.
