Q&A · Dua & Dhikr

What is the virtue of "SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi"?

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever says 'SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi' one hundred times in a day, his sins are wiped away even if they were like the foam of the sea." He also said these are "two words light upon the tongue, heavy upon the Scale, and beloved to the Most Merciful: SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi, SubhanAllahil-'Azim." It combines glorifying Allah above all deficiency with praising Him, making it among the most rewarding forms of dhikr to repeat throughout the day.
