Surah al-Mulk, also known as Tabarak, is reported to intercede for the one who recites it until he is forgiven. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'There is a surah in the Quran of thirty verses which interceded for a man until he was forgiven; it is: "Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion" (Tabarak alladhi biyadihi al-mulk).' Because of this it is recommended to recite it regularly, and it was the Prophet's habit not to sleep until he had recited it. This narration is graded hasan.
